Preparatory Courses: Get Ready for Precision Health & Medicine

The MScPHM programme delivers a rigorous, interdisciplinary curriculum that spans the full breadth of precision health and medicine — from molecular foundations such as genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics, through to the computational and quantitative skills required to interrogate them at scale.

To thrive in our programme, students need a working command of molecular biology alongside a practical coding toolkit: Python for artificial intelligence and machine learning, R for applied statistics and bioinformatics, and Bash scripting for navigating high-performance computing (HPC) clusters. To help incoming students arrive prepared and confident, we have curated a suite of preparatory courses that build these essential skills from the ground up.
