What Are Clinical Trials?
Clinical trials are clinical research studies conducted to investigate new treatments such as a new drug compound in human volunteers or research participants. Clinical trials can also look at other aspects of care, such as improving the quality of life for people with chronic illnesses. Generally, there are 4 phases in a clinical trial. Each phase has a specific drug safety and effectiveness requirements.
At Investigational Medicine Unit (IMU), we focus on early phase clinical trials which includes Proof of Concept, Phase 1 and Phase 2 studies. We also support Phase 3 and Phase 4 studies, biomarker research as well as bio-imaging analysis.

Our experienced coordinators which are CITI certified, ICH GCP, BCLS, AED and Code Blue trained will ensure a smooth clinical trial.
