Since graduating, Dr Tan has begun her work at Tan Tock Seng Hospital as a House Officer in the department for General Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>Her passion for research led her to take a gap year between Phase 4 and 5 of medical school to complete a Master of Science (Research) under the Intercalated Year Programme (IYP).
