{"id":16335,"date":"2023-07-28T06:14:19","date_gmt":"2023-07-28T06:14:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/graduatestudies\/?page_id=16335"},"modified":"2023-08-02T08:45:50","modified_gmt":"2023-08-02T08:45:50","slug":"university-level-awards-2023","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/medicine.nus.edu.sg\/graduatestudies\/achievements\/university-level-awards-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"University Level Awards 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3>\n\t\tWinners of the University Level Awards 2023\n\t<\/h3>\n\t\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Donated in 1998 by Professor and Mrs Chua Nam Hai in memory of Professor Chua&#8217;s late grandfather, Mr Chua Toh Hua, a gold medal is awarded to the Doctor of Philosophy graduate with the most outstanding research work done in Life Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to<strong> Dr Ricardo Moreno Traspas<\/strong> on winning the Chua Toh Hua Memorial Gold Medal for 2023 !<\/p>\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>In 2015, a donation from Lilly-NUS Centre for Clinical Pharmacology Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company led to the establishment of this annual award for students who have excelled in Pharmacology studies and training. A cash prize of $250 and a gold medal will be awarded to the PhD student with the Best PhD Research Thesis in Pharmacology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr Xu Jingru<\/strong> has been awarded the Lilly Medal and Prize in Pharmacology for 2023!<\/p>\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The Too Joon Chew Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Prize was established in 2022 by the Too family in memory of their late father, Mr Too Joon Chew. A cash prize valued at $1000 will be awarded to the top three PhD graduates with the most outstanding work done in their respective field of research.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud to feature the three winners of the 2023 Too Joo Chew PhD Prize!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The Yeoh Seang Aun Prizes (in Tuberculosis and Infectious Diseases) were donated in 2013 by Dr Yeah Swee Choo. A cash prize of $1,000 each is awarded to one medical undergraduate student and one postgraduate student annually.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ms Chun Ye Yu, Jade <\/strong>has been awarded the Yeoh Seang Aun Prize in Tuberculosis and Infectious Diseases for 2023!<\/p>\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Winners of the University Level Awards 2023 &nbsp;
