in Singapore are mandated to take the Final MMed (Paed Med) Examination (all parts \/ sections).<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">All Applicants applying for the examination MUST:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Hold a recognised basic medical degree and need not be residing or practising in Singapore.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Have passed the MRCPCH Foundation of Practice and MRCPCH Theory and Science examination<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Have passed the MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice examination<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Observe the MRCPCH (UK) Clinical Examination rules and regulations via <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rcpch.ac.uk\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">https:\/\/www.rcpch.ac.uk\/<\/span><\/a><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Have completed 24 months of posting requirements at time of examination.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Posting Requirement for Final MMed (Paed Med) Clinical Examination\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Applicants must have completed at least 24 months of hospital postings as follows:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">At least 12 months of General Paediatrics and its relevant Paediatric medical specialties\u2019 postings<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">At least 4 months of Neonatology posting and<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">At least 8 months of recognized elective postings which may include Paediatric subspecialties or General Paediatrics<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Local Applicants in the Paediatric Medicine Residency Training Programme will have their applications for the examination to be supported by their Programme Director.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Admission<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Each diet of examination is capped at 48 examination placements. Priority will be given to eligible applicants who are in the Paediatric Medicine Residency Training Programme in Singapore, followed by applicants who apply for both Final MMed (Paed Med) Exam and MRCPCH Clinical Exam. Applicants are required to create an account and submit an online application by the stipulated deadline. A fresh ink stamp must be used to authenticate the copy or translation of the primary medical qualification.<\/span><\/i><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Applicants who fail to present their original documents for verification without acceptable reasons will not be admitted to the examination.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Applicants whose original documents have been damaged or misplaced must apply to the relevant organizations \/ authorities for replacements or letters of verification.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">An applicant is only allowed to enrol concurrently in another programme offered by NUS or another University only if granted approval from the Vice Dean of Faculty and the Head of Department.
