to apply for either one of the options:\n<ul>\n<li>Option 1: Final MMed (Diag Rad) standalone exam<\/li>\n<li>Option 2: Final MMed (Diag Rad) and Final FRCR Part B exam<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Applicants who opt for Option 1 are only required to pay the Final Master of Medicine (Diagnostic Radiology) [MMed (Diag Rad)] fee.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants who opt for Option 2 are required to pay both the Final MMed (Diag Rad) fee as well as the Fellowship of Royal College of Radiology (FRCR) fee.<\/li>\n<li>Final MMed (Diag Rad) fees are inclusive of the prevailing GST rate and are subject to changes without prior notice.<\/li>\n<li>*Application fee is non-refundable and must be paid at the time of application.<\/li>\n<li>Successful applicants will be notified via email to accept placement. Placement will be confirmed only after successful payment transaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ef7c00;\"><strong>Format<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>The exam comprises two written assessments at Harbourfront Centre and two Viva stations (each with a pair of examiners and 30 minutes duration).<\/p>\n<p>The written examination will be delivered on a digital platform.\u00a0 Candidates should familiarise themselves with the platform via The Royal College of Radiologists website by accessing it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rcr.ac.uk\/exams-training\/rcr-exams\/exam-help-guidance\/guidance-on-image-based-exam-delivery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> prior to the exam.<\/p>\n<p>The Viva Voce stations will be conducted in a hybrid mode where candidates and examiners would be present on-site communicating via Microsoft (MS) Teams.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates would be examined by a pair of examiners and the examination content will be shared via MS Teams. Candidates will be able to take control of the mouse and access functionality to manipulate images. After 30 minutes, candidates will move to the second room and complete the second 30-minute session of the Viva Voce examination with a different pair of examiners.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ef7c00;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>All applicants applying for the examination MUST have:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>At least 34 months of Clinical Radiology Training<\/li>\n<li>Passed the FRCR 2A Examination<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Applicants should ensure to read the RCR <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rcr.ac.uk\/exams-training\/rcr-exams\/exam-regulations-policies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">examination regulation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ef7c00;\"><strong>Admission<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>Due to the limited placements for the Singapore examination, priority will be given to Singapore local trainees, residents and applicants who are working in Singapore. Overseas applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis. Acknowledgement of receipt of application does not guarantee a placement for the examination.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ef7c00;\"><strong>Application<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>Separate online applications are required for the respective examination(s):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Final MMed (Diag Rad) Examination: Online application via <a href=\"https:\/\/gradapp.nus.edu.sg\/portal\/app_manage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Graduate Admission System (GDA3)<\/a>. A step-by-step guide to applying online can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/acrobat.adobe.com\/id\/urn:aaid:sc:ap:f2d6a0bd-3f1d-424a-a79d-9a46ef9882e1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Final FRCR Part B Examination: Applicants with confirmed MMed (Diag Rad) placement will be notified via email at a later date to submit their application and examination fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All MMed (Diag Rad) applications with the following documents must be attached in the online submission to NUS by the closing date:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recent passport-sized photograph (image in jpeg format has to be 400 x 514 pixels)<\/li>\n<li>Certified true copy \/ scanned coloured copy of following documents (Official English translations will be required for stamps or certificates sent that are not in English)\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>FRCR Part 2A result letter<\/li>\n<li>Confirmatory Letter from Training Supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Recognised basic medical degree<\/li>\n<li>Identification documents:\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>NRIC: for locals \/ Permanent Residents (both front and back view)<\/li>\n<li>Employment Pass and Passport: for foreigners residing in Singapore<\/li>\n<li>Passport: for foreigners residing outside Singapore<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Late or incomplete applications will not be entertained. Hard copy and email applications will not be accepted. A completed application does not indicate a successful placement or admission into the examination.<\/p>\n<p>Photocopies of certificates and\/or official translations (in English)* including any other official supporting documents will be accepted only if they have been prepared and\/or authenticated by one of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The issuing University or Medical School;<\/li>\n<li>Medical Council of which you are registered and licensed to practice<\/li>\n<li>Government Ministries of Health;<\/li>\n<li>A notary public or Justice of the Peace;<\/li>\n<li>Division of Graduate Medical Studies (DGMS) \u2013 For authentication by DGMS office, original certificates and documents must be produced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>*<\/em> <em>Applicants<\/em><em> must submit an authenticated translation if their official supporting documents are not in English. A fresh ink stamp must be used to authenticate the copy or translation of the primary medical qualification.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Applicants who fail to present their original documents for verification without acceptable reasons will not be admitted to the examination.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants whose original documents have been damaged or misplaced must apply to the relevant organizations \/ authorities for replacements or letters of verification.<\/p>\n<p>It is a university regulation that applicants cannot be concurrently registered for more than one course\/examination in an academic year. DGMS is not obliged to provide reasons for unsuccessful applications. Other respective rules\/regulations of DGMS will apply.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #ef7c00;\"><strong>Withdrawal Policy<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>For withdrawals, the respective NUS and RCR withdrawal guidelines would apply.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates must contact the respective Officer-in-Charge (OIC) as soon as they know that they are unable to attend the examination enrolled. Request to withdraw from examination must be made in writing. Emails are acceptable.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates who notify the Division that they are unable to attend the examination on or after the examination dates may request for a refund within 14 calendar days from the last day of the examination and provide the supporting evidence where appropriate. The Division will generally consider providing refunds to candidates based under the following circumstances:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Illness \u2013 Refund request must be accompanied by a medical certificate.<\/li>\n<li>Pregnancy \u2013 Refund request must be accompanied by a medical report.<\/li>\n<li>Involvement in an accident e.g. victim of crime, accident or disaster \u2013 Refund request must be supported by evidence such as medical report and\/or police report.<\/li>\n<li>Bereavement in the immediate family \u2013 This normally refers to the loss of parent, grandparent, sibling, spouse or child and must be supported by relevant documents such as a death certificate, proof of the relationship, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Supporting evidence must be presented in all cases.<\/p>\n<p>All refunds granted will be subject to 10% administrative charges capped at $500.<\/p>\n<p>Requests for refund under the following reasons will not be entertained:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Lack of preparedness or readiness for the examination for which the candidate has enrolled.<\/li>\n<li>Failure to arrange time away from work.<\/li>\n<li>Inability to secure a visa or other travel Accurate radiological reporting will lead to timely diagnosis and better clinical outcomes for patients.<\/p>\n<p>The course will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>lectures on breast imaging, gynaecological imaging and nuclear medicine; and<\/li>\n<li>hands-on practise sessions for Rapid Reporting, Reporting and mock oral exams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ef7c00;\">Application<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Applicants are required to create an account and submit an online application, via DGMS <a href=\"https:\/\/inetapps.nus.edu.sg\/osca\/home.aspx\">Online System for Course Applications (OSCA)<\/a> by the stipulated deadline.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>all required fields are accurately filled and all supporting documents are uploaded into the system<\/li>\n<li>the non-refundable SGD87.20 payment is successful and supported by Tax Invoice (also known as the receipt) which is downloadable from the system<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A completed application does not indicate a successful placement or admission into the course.\u00a0 Late or incomplete applications will not be entertained.<\/p>\n<p>The following documents must be submitted together with your application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Recent passport-sized photograph<\/strong> (image has to be 400 x 514 pixels)<\/li>\n<li>Certified true copy \/ scanned coloured copy of following documents (Official English translations will be required for stamps or certificates sent that are not in English)\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Recognised basic medical degree<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Identification documents:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>NRIC<\/strong> : for locals \/ Permanent Residents (both front and back view)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Employment Pass and Passport<\/strong> : for foreigners (residing in Singapore)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Passport <\/strong>: for foreigners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Optional supporting documents to be submitted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pass letter for FRCR 2A exam<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Photocopies of certificates and\/or official translations (in English)^ including any other official supporting documents will be accepted only if they have been prepared and\/or authenticated by one of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the issuing University or Medical School<\/li>\n<li>Medical Council of which you are registered and licensed to practice<\/li>\n<li>Government Ministries of Health<\/li>\n<li>a notary public or Justice of the Peace<\/li>\n<li>Division of Graduate Medical Studies (DGMS) - For authentication by DGMS office, original certificates and documents must be produced<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>^Applicants must submit an authenticated translation if their official supporting documents are not in English. A fresh ink stamp must be used to authenticate the copy or translation of the primary medical qualification.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Applicants who fail to present their original documents for verification without acceptable reasons will not be admitted to the course.\u00a0 Applicants whose original documents have been damaged or misplaced must apply to the relevant organizations\/authorities for replacements or letters of verification.<\/p>\n<p>DGMS is not obliged to provide reasons for unsuccessful applications. Other respective rules\/regulations of DGMS will apply.<\/p>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ef7c00;\">Withdrawal Policy<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Course Participants must contact the respective Officer-in-Charge (OIC) as soon as they know that they are unable to attend the Course they have signed up for. Requests to withdraw from the Course must be made in writing. Emails are acceptable.<\/p>\n<p>Participants who notify the Division that they are unable to attend the Course on or after the Course dates must request a refund within 14 calendar days from the last day of the exam\/course and provide the supporting evidence where appropriate.
