Dr. Dong Ying-Qiu is a Data Scientist in Value Driven Outcomes Office in Academic Informatics Office National University Health System (NUHS). She completed her Fellowship at the Centre for Behavioral Economics from the National University of Singapore (NUS), following her doctoral studies in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics at the School of Computing, NUS. She holds a B.B.A. degree in Management Information Systems from Fudan University.
Ying-Qiu’s research focuses on association detection, causal inference, and policy evaluation in the healthcare domain, using applied econometrics methods. She has presented her research at leading academic and managerial conferences such as the International Consortium of Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM), International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Workshop on Information Systems and Economics (WISE).
Dr. Dong has been honored with awards including the Best Oral Presentation at the Value-Driven Care Conference in Singapore, as well as the first prizes in the 8th Shanghai Future Star Competition and the 25th Intel Shanghai Adolescents Science and Innovation Fair.
