The NUS Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) welcomed our AY23/24 intake of students for the Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics Coursework (MSc in BMI) on 29 July.

The Orientation started off with a welcome speech from A/Prof Ngiam Kee Yuan, Head of DBMI, and Chairman of the MSc in BMI programme committee. Faculty members A/Prof Jason Yap from the School of Public Health, Dr Adam Chee from Institute of Systems Science, as well as A/Prof Seth Gilbert from School of Computing also gave an introduction of their faculties and modules the students would be reading. We were also joined by speakers from the NUS Libraries, Ms Wong Suei Nee and Centre for Future Ready Graduates (CFG), Dr Benjamin Tan, who shared useful information to prepare our students for their learning journey in NUS.
