Over five intensive days, clinicians, technologists, entrepreneurs, and researchers collaborated to address some of the region&#8217;s most pressing healthcare challenges\u2014from diabetes management to mental health stigma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Healthcare Challenges Addressed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Teams focused on developing actionable solutions across four critical areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chronic Disease Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diabetes monitoring and intervention technologies that improve patient adherence and clinical outcomes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cancer care delivery systems enhancing treatment accessibility and care coordination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mental Health Innovation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Evidence-based addiction treatment methodologies leveraging digital therapeutics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interventions addressing mental health stigma to increase help-seeking behaviours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cross-Border Collaboration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The hackathon brought together Southeast Asia&#8217;s emerging health innovation community with global expertise from MIT&#8217;s healthcare innovation ecosystem.
