However please note that selection of candidates is competitive and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee automatic admission into the programme.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Academic Qualifications<\/td>\n<td>Graduates with bachelor&#8217;s degrees in M.B.B.S., or health sciences related discipline. Candidates with other qualifications and relevant industry experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Professional Experience<\/td>\n<td>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Undergraduate Medical Degree<\/td>\n<td>Undergraduate Non-Medical Degree<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>a) One year of general clinical experience, excluding housemanship for Singapore-trained doctors\nb) One year of work experience in public health \/ health administration \/ occupational and environmental health or having entered clinical specialty training<\/td>\n<td>a) Two years of work experience in public health \/ health promotion \/ health administration \/ occupational and environmental health \/ clinical research \/ other related fields<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Language Proficiency (English)<\/td>\n<td><strong>Proficiency in conversational English is essential. For applicants whose native tongue and medium<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>of university instruction is not completely in English:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) minimum score of 85 (Internet-based), or<\/li>\n<li>International English Language Testing System (IELTS) minimum Academic score 6.0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(Note: TOEFL \/ IELTS scores are valid for two years from the test date and should not have expired at the point of application. Expired scores will not be considered for the application.)<\/p>\n<p>Candidates may visit the official <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ets.org\/\">Educational Testing Service (ETS)<\/a> website for scheduling of TOEFL\/GRE tests.<\/p>\nApplicants are responsible for ensuring that application information and all supporting documents are truthful and correct. NUS reserves the right to verify information provided as part of an application. False or misleading information in an application (including but not limited to test scores, resumes, certificates, transcripts, etc.) is grounds for admission rejection, revocation and\/or dismissal from the University.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h2>\n\t\tApplication Documents\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Applicants should note that the following are key documents required at the point of application, although additional items may be necessary according to the application checklist:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Statement of Purpose \/ Motivation Letter <\/strong>of not more than 300 words and upload it as a document in Word or PDF format.
