Admissions to the NUS MSc (Precision Health and Medicine) programme is granted on a competitive basis. Please note that meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee automatic admission into the MSc programme.
Applicants should possess the following requirements:
Bachelor degrees in M.B.,B.S., or a relevant Bachelor’s degree (preferably with Honours) in any STEMM (Science, Technology i.e/ Computing, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine) or related disciplines
Note: Candidates with other qualifications will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval of the Programme Committee (eg. Significant experience and demonstrable professional accomplishments in Precision Medicine-related fields or Completed relevant Executive or Graduate Certificates in Precision Health and Medicine with a minimum GPA of 3.5 which are stackable towards the MSc(PHM))
For candidates with non-quantitative (i.e. non-Math, Engineering / Computing) Undergraduate majors, aptitude or competency for quantitative science (especially statistics and/or computing) must be demonstrated. Examples can include:

Relevant work experience in biologically / data science related industry would be an advantage

Note: TOEFL/ IELTS scores are valid for two (2) years from the test date and should not have expired at point of application. Expired scores will not be considered for the application.
Applicants are welcome to submit additional test reports that they may have (i.e. GRE, GMAT)

Application Fee is S$50.47 including 8% Goods & Service Tax (non-refundable and non-transferable).
Please upload the supporting documents onto the Graduate Admission System under “Document Upload” section. The documents should be in .pdf format.
Documents not in English must be accompanied with certified copies of the English-translated version. Inaccurate/incomplete applications will not be processed. You may be informed via email separately in due course should you be required to provide additional documents for your application.
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that application information and all supporting documents are truthful and correct. NUS reserves the right to verify information provided as part of an application. False or misleading information in an application (including but not limited to test scores, resumes, certificates, transcripts, etc.) is grounds for admission rejection, revocation and/or dismissal from the University.
Note: Reference letter directly from referees is required if you wish to be considered for scholarship/tuition fee waiver. Please assign at least 1 referee under “Referee” section in the Graduate Admission System. An email will be sent to your referees for them to send their reports directly to us. DO NOT upload any reference letter to the Application Portal.

Applicants who accept within 1 week of receiving our offer letter will be eligible for the early acceptance rate.
Before accepting the offer, it is mandatory for self-support students to upload the financial documents such as a bank statement or a recent pay slip, or – for sponsored students – a letter of confirmation from your sponsor, together with the financial status proof. The financial proof should certify your financial ability to make payment for tuition and miscellaneous student fees and living expenses of S$18,000 per year throughout the the normal duration of MSc programme. Failure in doing so will delay your application processing, or may result in your application being disqualified.
Once the offer is accepted, payment of acceptance fees will be required on the Graduate admission system. Acceptance fees is S$5,450.00 including 9% GST (Non-refundable and non-transferable; Will be credited towards tuition fees).
Please note that any decisions regarding scholarship or tuition fee waiver will be made independently of the admissions offer and may be communicated at a later time.
