Hospital-based Cancer Registry (HCR)

The objective of the newly established HCR is to collect detailed information on every cancer patient treated at NUH and other local hospitals. This information will be of value for many purposes including: Translational research; Clinical research; Health services research; Clinical audit; & Ensuring efficient follow-up of cancer patients.

The HCR is a partner core facility to the TR and the two units function synergistically. Functions of the two units overlap considerably, as illustrated by the venn diagram shown below.
