The Immunology Program in the Department of Physiology covers the major areas of modern immunology including cellular, molecular and clinical immunology. Our individual research is diverse, yet thrives to enhance the understanding of how our immune system works with the aim of advancing diagnostic and therapeutic applications for the benefit of human health.
Research in the Program is focused on the immune responses and immune mechanisms against pathogens and tumors and clinical conditions such as autoimmune disease and asthma.
We have access to state-of-the-art core facilities such as Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting and Fluorescent Confocal Microscopy which aids in the output of high impact scientific research.
