POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES BY RESEARCH

The department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology offers Master's Degree and Doctoral Degrees.

Master's Degree

Masters degree is offered by research (Full-time and Part-time).
Research degree are awarded on the basis of supervised research and the submission of a thesis for examination.

Doctoral Degrees 

Awarded on the basis of research work.

Admission Requirements

The normal minimum entry qualifications for admission to the Master's / Doctoral Programmes by research are a good relevant bachelor's degree (applicants who are NUS graduates should preferably have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of second class honours) / master's degree and the ability to pursue research in the candidate's proposed field of advanced study. For research programmes, the medium of instruction is mainly in English, applicants whose native language is not English should submit TOEFL / IELTS scores as evidence of their proficiency in the English Language.

Applications For Programmes

There are two intakes per academic year: one in July / October and the other in January. Application forms can be obtained from the Registrar's Office. Please note that the applications must be submitted to the Registrar's office by 15th May for the January intake, and by 15th December for the July / October intake respectively.
