Endometriosis affects an estimated 176 million women worldwide
regardless of their ethnic and social background. Many remain
undiagnosed and are therefore not treated.
Our campaign
aims to raise awareness about this hidden and
often unrecognized condition. We hope to promote greater awareness
and understanding of this real, debilitating and disabling disease.
The Endometriosis awareness campaign serves as a platform to facilitate
collaboration and information sharing between women with
endometriosis, physicians, scientists and others interested in the
disease. Hopefully, these activities can enable us to deliver up-to-date, evidence based, information and news about endometriosis.
Come
and join us in this fortnight of activities and learn more about
this condition. The Endometriosis awareness campaign provides a great opportunity to
bring together all those who are interested to play an active part
in making a difference in the management of this disease.
