Head and Senior Consultant
Division of Benign Gynaecology
National University Hospital
The Benign Gynaecology Division has gathered a dedicated team of doctors to provide excellent patient care on a wide range of gynaecological issues such as contraception, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, hysterectomy, and all other diseases associated with women.
Our specialised areas include that of Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) and Urogynaecology. In MIS, we have integrated cutting edge technology such as robotic surgery, single port access surgery and various advanced energy sources into our clinical care which allows for faster recovery, reduced pain and lowered wound complication rates.
Our Urogynaecology programme provides complete diagnostic evaluation as well as informed discussion on the various modalities of treatment for pelvic floor reconstruction or strengthening, urinary leakage, bladder pain and other problems related to the vagina, uterus, bladder, urethra and rectum.
Our team of doctors provide a personalised and comprehensive women's care for patients of all ages, in all stages of life. In terms of clinical care, training and education, the division collaborates closely with the Gynaecological Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility and Maternal Fetal Medicine divisions, thus providing seamless care for our patients.
