Research Co-ordinators (Recruitment/Home Visits)
The successful
applicants will be in the front line and involved with recruitment
and liaison with expectant female participants.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
1. 1.
Informing prospective participants
of relevant details in relation to the study at the point of
recruitment.
2. 2.
Assisting in procedures such as
blood-taking, monitoring of BP and taking of anthropometric
measures.
3. 3.
Promoting and encouraging
participation amongst pregnant women.
4. 4.
Communicating effectively with
prospective participants of the Birth cohort study.
5. 5.
Conducting phone interviews with
participants.
6. 6.
Conducting home visits to administer questionnaires to study
participants and performing simple procedures
(measurements).
Requirements:
We are looking for
capable and highly motivated ladies. The candidate must be
effectively bilingual and have excellent, interpersonal and
communication skills. Candidates must be willing to conduct evening
and weekend home visits as the study progresses. A nursing
certificate is not necessary.
