Master of Nursing Programme
 
The BSc (Nursing) Programme follows the National University of Singapore's modular system. Students receive important fundamental knowledge from a range of disciplines in science, social sciences and nursing. They acquire and apply nursing skills in a simulated clinical laboratory on campus. Around 50% of the programme is spent in a range of clinical practice settings. The degree includes the following key subjects:
 
Contemporary Nursing
Anatomy and Physiology
Pathophysiology
Microbiology
Immunology
Psychology
Sociology
Critical Thinking and Analysis
Healthcare Ethics and Law
Healthcare Management and Education
Research and Evidence-based Practice
Pharmacology
Clinical Skills
Clinical attachments in local hospitals and institutions
Candidates offered the Honours programme will complete a research project and modules such as evidence-based nursing, applied research methods and integrated clinical practice.
Electives
Students will have the opportunity to take a choice of electives. Students may also opt to take on electives modules offered by other faculties in NUS.

Upon successful completion of the 3-year programme, graduates are eligible to register with the Singapore Nursing Board to practise as a registered nurse.
