| D.S. Lee Foundation – Yellow Ribbon Fund Nursing Scholarships |
|
Donated in 2008 by Dr Della Lee of the D.S. Lee Foundation, one scholarship will be awarded each year for two years with effect from AY2009/2010.
An annual support of S$7, 000 for three years is provided to
 |
one nursing student (freshmen class of AY2009/2010) and to |
 |
one nursing student (freshmen class of AY2010/2011) |
|

The scholarship is governed by the following conditions:
| 1. |
In order to be eligible for the Scholarships, applicants must
 |
Be Singapore citizens; |
 |
Be enrolled in the BSc (Nursing) at the ALCNS, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore; |
 |
Have good academic records and extra-curricular activity records; and |
 |
Have a per capita household income* not exceeding One Thousand Five Hundred Singapore Dollars (S$1,500)
 |

| 2. |
Preference will be given to the family of Yellow Ribbon members. Otherwise, the scholarship will be awarded to any eligible applicant. |
|
| 3. |
Applicants/Awardees must not concurrently hold any other form of free aid e.g. bursaries, scholarships without prior approval from the respective awarding bodies. |
|
|

| Thio Kok Foe & Choo Kim Beng Nursing Scholarships |
|
The scholarships are established by a donation from the D.S.Lee Foundation in honour of Dr Della Lee's parents.
Up to two scholarships, valued at a minimum of S$7,000 each, can be awarded every year.
The scholarship is governed by the following conditions:

In order to be eligible for the Scholarships, applicants must:

Be either a Singapore citizen or permanent resident of Singapore; |
 |
Be enrolled or accepted in the BSc (Nursing) at the ALCNS, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore; |
 |
Have good academic records and extra-curricular activity records; and |
 |
Have a per capita household income* not exceeding One Thousand Five Hundred Singapore Dollars (S$1,500)
 |

| 2. |
A scholarship shall be tenable for the academic year in which it is awarded but scholarship
recipients may re-apply in subsequent academic years.

|
|

| Fok Chu On Family Bursary |
|
Fok Chu On Family Bursary aims to support needy medical and nursing undergraduate students studying in the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine for the minimum duration of their course of study.
For the Bachelor of Science (Nursing) programme, the minimum duration of the course of study excludes the Honours year.
Up to four bursaries, valued at S$10,000 each, can be awarded to the nursing students in each academic year.
The bursary is governed by the following conditions:

Eligibility for the bursary:

The bursary is open to all first year NUS BSc (Nursing) students at the ALCNS, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. |
 |
The bursary is regardless of nationality. |
|
|
| 2. |
The bursary recipients may not concurrently hold any other scholarship, fellowship, grant or award
without the prior approval from the School. |
| 3. |
The bursary must be used to cover tuition fees and any balance thereof will be provided to the
bursary recipients as a living allowance. |
| 4. |
In order for a nursing bursary recipient to continue to qualify for the bursary award each academic
year, he/she must satisfy the continuation requirements for the programme and must not be on
probation or be in receipt of an academic warning. |
Application forms will be made available during the Freshmen Orientation Day and at the ALCNS General Office and the Nursing Skills Lab at the beginning of the academic year.
