A. Information For Oral Presenters
Oral Presentation Guidelines:
PowerPoint presentation slides must be sent to the conference secretariat (email: ) by 15 Oct 2009.
All PowerPoint slides will be pre-loaded in order to ease the transition between presenters.
Each concurrent session will be 60 minutes in length, allowing for four presentations per session.
Each oral presentation will be limited to 20 minutes including questions and answers.
It is recommended that only one author presents for each oral presentation.
Some sessions may have fewer than four presentations due to cancellations. In this case, the additional time may be divided equally among the remaining presentations based on the moderator's directions.
Handouts: Presenters wishing to provide handouts to attendees should bring approximately 30 copies.
Audio/Visual Equipment Available:
  • A computer and projector will be provided for presentations.
  • All PowerPoint presentations must be given through the provided computer and projector. Presenters CANNOT hook up their own equipment.
  • Windows XP will be the operation system and PowerPoint 2003 will be the version of software used.
 
B. Information For Poster Presenters
Poster panel dimensions: 2m (height) X 1m (width).
Note: Effective space for mounting poster: 1.8 (height) X 0.9m (width).
Material of panel board: Felt finish.
Velcro for securing of posters on the poster panel will be provided.
Poster Presentation Guidelines:
1. All posters to be presented in English only.
2. Title is to be printed at the top of the poster. (BOLD CAPITAL letters, Font: Times New Roman, Size: # 100).
3. Name (s) of author (s), institution (s), city and country of author (s) should be stated clearly, directly below the title. Provide the surname (s) of the author (s) followed by initials.
4. Print the name of the presenting author in bold.
5. Posters to be mounted at eye level.
6. All poster presenters are requested to adhere to the mount and tear down times. This will be stipulated at a later date.

NOTE: Only officially registered participants with full payment to the SingHealth-NUHS APN Conference 2009 may provide oral presentation or posters. Official registration will be confirmed only upon receipt of registration form and full payment.
