The 1st NUS-UH Conference will be held from 28 to 30 May 2008 in Singapore. The conference, titled "Advanced Practice Nursing in Multicultural Environments", will bring together nurses, health practitioners, educators, regulators and policy makers worldwide in order to discuss current issues, develop strategies for the future and increase avenues of communication as they affect the health of diverse populations.
The prime sponsors are the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies at the National University of Singapore and the School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.
The goal of the 2008 conference is to bring together a diverse array of individuals who have an interest in improving approaches to Advanced Practice Nursing by sharing effective strategies and models of application that are working among diverse and the multicultural populations.
