NUS Leadership in Academic Medicine

The Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine established the NUS Leadership in Academic Medicine (NLAM) Program in 2005 with a mission to promote academic medicine and to improve professional development and self-efficacy of our faculty members. The aim of this program is to facilitate future and existing medical academic careers in our institution.

NLAM has established three components to carry out this mission:

	NLAM Mentoring Program – a structured mentoring program for all current and potential SoM academic staff.
	NUH-NUS Medical Publications Support Unit (PSU) – a joint collaboration between NUH and NUS to facilitate and support medical and scientific publications for the whole Singapore community.
	Clinician Scientist Unit (CSU) – a research-related unit that provides administrative support and guidance for our clinician scientists.
