- Candidates, when feasible, may be taught to develop his or
her research project, to write competitive grants to fund the
project, and to administer and conduct the research in a timely
fashion.

major ophthalmic institutions in Singapore, including the
Singapore National Eye Centre, National University Hospital, Tan
Tock Seng Hospital, and the Singapore Polytechnic.

- Close integration of clinical and epidemiological research
at NUS & SERI provides opportunity to translate basic science
discoveries into new diagnostic and treatment modalities.

Eligibility
Physicians with a MBBS or equivalent qualification; or scientists
with a PhD or equivalent qualification may be considered.
