A/Prof Khay-Guan Yeoh, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Vice Dean in the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore(NUS).

A/Prof Yeoh currently practices as a Senior Consultant at the Department of Gastroentrology & Hepatology, National University Hospital. He also serves as Vice Chairman, Medical Board at the National University Hospital.

A/Prof Yeoh graduated MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from the National University of Singapore in 1987. He trained in internal medicine and gastroenterology at the National University Hospital. From 1996 -1997, he was Visiting Fellow at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he trained in advanced therapeutic endoscopy. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London and Glasgow, and a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He also serves as a reviewer for several journals and grant funding agencies.

Research Interests

A/Prof Yeoh's research interests are in the early detection of gastric and colorectal cancer. His current research efforts are focused on a targeted screening programme for detection of early gastric cancer in the population based on risk stratification and discovery of biomarkers. Another of his active initiative focuses on overcoming barriers to the screening of colorectal cancer in the community.
