Research Interests
Dr. Lee Chi-Hang, Ronald is an interventional cardiologist in the National University Hospital.
He is an accredited specialist in cardiovascular medicine.
Dr. Lee’s specialty interests focus on percutaneous coronary intervention, intravascular ultrasound, pathogenesis and management of acute coronary syndromes.
Dr. Lee graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a MBBS (HK) degree.
He received his general medical training in the Queen Mary Hospital and cardiovascular specialty training in the Grantham Hospital, Hong Kong.
Dr. Lee subsequently pursued fellowship training in interventional cardiology in the Thoraxcenter, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Dr. Lee joined the National University Hospital in 2003. Currently,
Dr. Lee is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the National University of Singapore and Consultant Cardiologist at the National University Hospital, Singapore.
Dr. Lee has authored or co-authored more than 80 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals or chapters in medical textbooks. Dr. Lee serves as a manuscript reviewer for a number of medical journals.
Dr. Lee is involved in many clinical trials and research studies related to his specialty interests.
Dr. Lee is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology (FACC), Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS) and Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (FHKAM).
He is a member of the Singapore Cardiac Society and Hong Kong College of Cardiology.
