The Department of Medicine is dedicated to the provision of a healthy and safe work
environment for its staff, students and visitors. We are also committed to
programs of accident and injury prevention, as well as to the compliance with
all relevant environmental, health and safety laws and regulations as set by the
University. At the Department of Medicine, we recognize that safety is a shared
responsibility of all staff, students and visitors of the department. Hence, we
support the idea of a safety website. On behalf of the department, I would like
