Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Immunology Programme)

Applications are invited for postdoctoral fellow with substantial relevant experience in immunology.  The role of this applicant includes identification of the MHC I peptides, testing these peptides using T cell proliferation and T cell cytokine assays, generation of MHC tetramers testing the tetramers and isolation of the T cell receptors using the tetramers. The person is also responsible for cloning of the T cell receptor and the preparation of the constructs needed to generate the transgenic mice, design of primers for genomic analysis (J Immunol 2007; 178: 4771-4778, Eur J Immunol. 2008; 38: 2251-62, PNAS. 2008; 105: 3831-6)  The project is funded by National Medical Research Council for a 3 year period.

Facility Manager / Senior Lab Executive (Immunology Programme)

The individual will
manage a cutting edge microscopy facility and immunohistochemistry laboratory in the Immunology Programme at NUS.  The role also requires you to link in with ongoing research projects undertaken by principal investigators within the Immunology program and to expand and improve our current approaches to include confocal and 2-photon microscopy.

Postdoctoral Fellow (Thermatic Stratetic Research Programme)

for an enthusiastic and motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join Associate Professor Lee Yuan Kun’s laboratory in the Department of Microbiology, to carry out genetic modification of microalgae. Candidates with knowledge and working experience in Genetics and Molecular Biology are welcome to apply. A background in microbiology or plant science will be beneficial. Research Assistant Position (2 positions)

Applications are invited for Research Assistant position in Immunology at the NUS Immunology Programme. You will be a full-time member in a laboratory and assist researchers in their projects and maintenance of animals. Research Nurse Position

Applications are invited for a qualified research nurse to participate in a collaborative project between researchers in the National University of Singapore and the University of Cambridge. This project is aimed at identifying new prognostic markers in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus that allow for better targeted therapy. The individual recruited will be responsible for liasing between the  clinicians and scientists at NUHS and for recruitment of patients.
