Charity Premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
A few hundred strong crowd of all ages gathered at the Suntec cineplex and its halls on a Wednesday night. Some were even dressed for the occasion: clad as witches and wizards in the Hogwarts tradition with brooms. No, it isn't Dumbledore's army, but you're quite close. They were brethren of a more medical nature.
In the name of charity, on the 11 th of July, medical students from the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, ranging from the first to the final years, distinguished alumni and their children and guests turned up for the exclusive charity premiere of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix". The fund-raising event aims to create a YLLSOM medical student bursary fund for our more needy fellow students.
