Research Assistant / Research Fellow


Job Requirements

Candidates are invited to apply for the position of (1) Research Assistant; (2) Research Fellow to
examine the roles of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans in cancer biology.

The candidate should have:

  • At least a BSc in Biomedical Science / Life Science or related fields with good results for Position 1,
    or a PhD for Position 2
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team in an exciting research environment
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulousness
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prior research experience in cell culture, immunohistochemistry and molecular biology will be an advantage


Job Scope
  • Carry out research projects
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of daily laboratory operations


The successful applicant will work in a challenging environment and be actively involved in clinically
important research projects. Remuneration will commensurate with relevant qualifications and
experience. Contract is renewable annually based on satisfactory performance.

Tenure-Track Assistant Professor / Associate Professor


Job Description & Requirements

The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications from outstanding scholars for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

  • Applicants should hold a Ph.D. / MD degree with post-doctoral research experience preferably in neuroscience / glia biology / stem cell biology & developmental biology.
  • Excellence in teaching and programmatic research is expected for all appointments.
  • Evidence of excellence in research to be demonstrated by high-quality research papers in leading journals in the field and through strong letters of references of high international standing.
